  • Extensions in App Not Fully Displayed

Hey all - I recently set up the ST / Mitel Mobility Router and it's working fine. I have one final issue to work out, when we look up someone's extension in the directory we see the suffix of their extension but not the prefix. We're using 6 digit extensions (204-123), but the app is only showing me the last 3 (123) so when I tap it to dial of course it's trying to send it over the cellular network.

I'm assuming my issue is in the Enterprise Extension Pattern in the Numbering Plan of the IPBX in the mobility router admin page, but I'm not sure how it should be formatted and the admin guide isn't a lot of help... out of the box it's set up as '2[0138]XX'. Any of you fine people know what I might change it to to have it present or at least dial all 6 extension digits when you look someone up and call them in the Connect app? Or am I barking up the wrong tree altogether?

Thanks either way everyone. I hope you're all getting sleep and staying safe.

I meant to include these screenshots with my original post. Anyone seen this before?

    Thanks,

in regard to the Enterprise Extension Pattern in the Numbering Plan.
X represents any number, a single-digit means only that number can be in that slot, and the brackets [1-3] represent any number in that bracket can be used. You also need to have your EEP slots match what your system is using for extensions.

So, if you have 6 digits you could have the following examples as your EEP rules (X should be capitalized)

      XXXXXX
      [1-8][0-9]XXXX

interesting - that is much more clear than the admin guide!

So if my extensions are all 20X-XXX, my rule would be 20[X]xxx ?

        Thank you for your help!

or 20XXX to be simpler, it's up to you.

Hey thanks for your help, Lance. I realized that shortly after I posted my response and did indeed put in 20XXXX. Everything is still working, but I'm still only seeing the last 3 in the app when I look up users. I'm holding for TAC now. Starting to worry this is a limitation of the app...

            Thanks,
            -Chris

It could be a limit but it looks to me it would possibly be a dialing plan normalizing the pattern to be more efficient. Let us know what tac finds.
