We just finished our migration to ECC 5.1 last night. The server upgrade went sort of as planned with only one major glitch. The instructions say to copy all your custom wave files and some other directories somewhere else because they get overwritten from 5.0 to 5.1. However the install dox don't say where to put them back to after you upgrade...as these file structures look like they changed and some new ne were added ...once or vendor called in support and ST moved the backup files into the newly created directories the call routing options started playing the correct wave files again. I know this post is sortof veg but its mostly a heads up.....

Well, that poses quite the problem doesn't it?
In 5.1, they replaced the IVR file structure for different languages. For example, /IVR/English Files became /IVR/en-US (if I remember correctly. I'm going by memory here). I'm sure that would be peachy if you did dynamic languages, so the path would be /IVR/%lang path%/Whatever. However, if you had scripts setup to statically go to /IVR/English Files/Whatever that still isn't going to work, even if you put your custom files back into that new en-US folder.
If you have static assignments like that, I would try putting the whole path back in (/IVR/English Files/whatever). That should make it work for now until all the scripts can be changed.

ECC Upgrade
Can I ask how you handled the agents?
Did you upgrade them to 5.0 then to 5.1 along with the server?
I am preparing to go through the same process but I thought I would upgrade the server to 5.0 then to 5.1 then go to the 40 agent pc's and delete the Toolbar and then reinstall the agent toolbar as new. this means I only touch the agent pc's 1 time. I know 5.1 has an msi file now but it won't work in this environment. Thanks for your headsup!

A little warning for people doing these kind of upgrades, at each step the database upgrade has to complete in its entirety before you move on to the next version. If you don't wait, you will end up losing historical reporting data.
