The feature list is protected by NDA and shouldn't be posted here.

Cool stuff though.!! If you have worked much with the ECC in previous releases, you will be happy with 5.0. I think it is safe to say that!

It's very neat thus far. I'm not under a beta NDA or anything, but I'm pretty sure engineering will kick my butt if I say anything. :tt2:

Sarsin, What version did you upgrade from? Any issues? Did you have Call Control Scripts? Did they make it through the migration fine?

                  NEw Features in ECC

The new feature set is built around significant architecture changes: Now runs as a service, MySQL database, dongleless supervisor and floating licenses, expanded capacity. I think we can look forward to geographic redundancy with primary and secondary servers. The good news is that it is a ShoreTel release, with a high level of integration, testing and meaningful documentation!

Regards, DRVOIP.com - Home You will find several ECC online Video Tutorials here on configuration, scripting, dial lists etc.

I didn't get to upgrade, I got to see it going in the ShoreTel TAC. I believe TAC upgraged from 4.66.04 though.

Is there a migration tool to go from the Sybase DB of Contact Center 4.x to the MySQL DB of the new Contact Center.

There is now a Build 501.2.9704 that fixes a few issues.

ECC 5.1, currently in Alpha, has been announced and has some interesting new features.

                          Sarsin,
Any particular reason why you moved from 4.66.04? We are running 4.66.04 and have some issues that I think are bug issue be not sure.

Honestly, I think they moved because that happened to be the version they were on when the Alpha of 5.0 came out. If you have access to the partner site, you can look at the release notes for the new 4.66 versions and see if the problem you are having is a known issue. I believe 4.x is up to 4.66.07 now.
