  • Configuring a ShoreGear T1 to work with a Mediant 1000

We have a ShoreGear T1 that is our PRI hookup. We have a Mediant 1000 that will be controlling SIP. The Mediant 1000 is up and running fine, however the D Channel is down on the ShoreGear T1. Any idea what this could be from?

Which system is controlling the DChannel? One of them needs to be the primary or master for the tie line, which system will be supplying the clock source?

The ShoreGear T-1 is master. The AudioCodes is set for slave. As far as what I understand right now, the T-1 is controlling DChannel.

You might need to force the dchannel up through telnet:

        >dchanup 1

You might also have to try different configs, like DMS-100 or change it to CAS.

I will try that in the morning. Thanks man... will post results tomorrow. The thing is that the Mediant 1000 is connecting to Broadvox. The ShoreGear T-1 is connecting to the PRI... now to get the ShoreGear T-1 to talk to the Mediant...
