  • Developing an interface to a 3rd-party app

We have a CRM product we would like to integrate with ST. Any comments on how to get documentation / proceed with that project? Is there any kind of API available to do simple screen pops, etc.? Thanks.

Yes, there is a developer program you can join that gives you access to the Shoretel SDK.

More information is available from: ShoreTel - Developer Network

        interface

It's a vertical market product for public and private utilities. We're considering an interface with ST and offering it as an add on feature.

There is a need for some IVR capabilities as well as basic screen-pop, and some automatic routing based on customer account information. I've had my eye on Shoretel for quite a while, and the product is improving quickly.

Thanks. The COM SDK looks like a good place to start.
