  • Call Screening

    One feature we still miss from our old phone system is call screening. This is something the Execs used all the time. When an outside caller would call them directly or get to their extension through the AA the caller would be prompted for their name and then put on hold. The Phone would ring for the exec and they would get a message like: "call from" <name> "to accept this call press..." If they didn't accept the call the caller was told they are unavailable and sent to their voicemail.

    Sounds like a good way to piss off all the people you didn't want to talk to that day to me.
