  • Busy Hunt Group Status...

    I'd like to see the ability to program a button on a phone (or in call manager, or ideally in both..) that would be able to busy out a hunt group and display the status of the hunt group.

    Currently the first part is actually available, but there is no way short actually going to the Shoreware Director to determine the busy status of the hunt group.

    We have several clients where they would like to be able to use something like this be able to quickly trigger a hunt group to roll immediately to AA, rather than following it's normal call handling. For example when the entire office is going to be an afternoon training session.

    Day mode and Night Mode options to put allow an end user easily roll to AA for an all staff meeting would help me out as well.

      Both of these are great ideas and we defintely would love to see them as well. Especially given that most legacy systems offer this type of functionality.

        What feature to you use to busy out the Hunt Group? I have tried Send Digits and Dial Number.

            Sorry - let me clarify - what feature did you program on the button or toolbar to manually send *18 + HG#. I know you can do it manually thru the keypad. I'm looking to see if it can be programmed on a button either on the phone or in Call Manager. It sounded like from the post you could do that.
