  • Pull a call out of vmail

On a Comdial system I used to have, if a caller came in and rang your phone, then was forwarded to voicemail, you could press the "Listen" button and hear the vmail as it was being left. You then had a button that, when pressed, would barge in with a stutter tone and allow you to take the call, right then and there.

I always found it a huge convenience and an awesome feature!

I have had several requests for this answering machine style feature and, as much as I hate to admit it, think that for once comdial had a good idea that could be of some use to the world.

This sounds interesting. Also a little hard due to ShoreTel's design, but I've got some ideas for accomplishing it.
