  • Park & Intercom Feature

    Most of the time when a call is parked for someone there is a need to inform the person who it is and whats its about. Similar to the park and page feature a park and intercom feature would be great.

    Pressing the button should park the call to the extension and initiate an immediate off hook or ringing intercom call to that person. (the off hook or ringing should be a system pref configurable by the admin)

    That would be of rather limited use I think, since if they were within hearing of the intercom at their desk they could have heard the call ring if you transferred it to them. Park and page is useful since you do not have to know where a person is to page them. But if you know where they are, why park and not just transfer, especially from the operator console which is where most parks are done.
