  • PCM - Dial after hitting [Enter] when name found without having to down-arrow.

    If I remember correctly, in the 7.5 version of the PCM, you could type someone's name in the PCM and hit enter at almost any point and it would start dialing. In the 8.0 version of the PCM, when you type someone's name, you HAVE TO down-arrow once to highlight their name and then hit enter.

    I know, I know, a very minor nuisance, yet something that I really liked in the old version. This being said, I can't imagine this would be that hard for Shoretel to fix. Just make it so that on [ENTER] it dials the first nearest match to whatever is typed in.

    Remember 8 is CR at this time, not all fixes, features and core elemints are in the build until GA. if oyu think it is a functional bug, report this via the Web (Aka ShoreTel Login) or through your partner

      Thanks for the advice, where do I go to post?

      Thanks for the advice. I just checked the Shoretel support site but I didn't see where to post a bug report such as this (not that it is necessarily a bug.)

      Can anyone help guide me to the correct spot on the Shoretel site?

        Hi Rob
        Do you have an Enterprise contact with ShoreTel?
        If yes
        Are you an Autherised Contact in that Eprise contract?
        if Yes
        the login in to Shoretel with you login info, normally your email address and your password

        Go to the Support and Downloads tab
        Choose My Service Requests

        If you have no Enterprise contract you must go through your Partner
