director issue

I've loaded director on a new server (new install) and on several of the configuration pages it says "you may not modify the configuration database" across the top. Has anyone else seen this before? There didn't seem to be any issues when I was loading the software.

You are logged in as somebody that does not have administrator privleges.

Did you assign your self SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR or the defualt of TECHNICAL SUPPORT? Tech support has no privliges.

Turned out to be a DCOM permission error.

keep the NIC plugged in

just needed to keep the NIC plugged in

Yes that will apply the 127.0.0.0 in the db.
