Question to anybody who has installed MCM

the IP address that you provide the Blackberry after you install the software, does it need to be addressable from the internet? I'm not a Blackberry Power-user, so I have no idea how it all works. the instructions are a little vague on this.

If you have a BES server that can locally route to the SWD server then you can enter the local (i.e. private network) IP address of the SWD server. This holds true for installing the software as well as setting it up. The packets will be routed through the BES server. I think you need to use the Blackberry Browser and not Internet Browser for this to work. If you are not using a BES server then you need a public IP address and port for the MCM website.

The port will be port 80 (unless you changed it on the SWD server in IIS) the pin in your VM pin.

Were you having the issue where you have to select the Blackberry button.
