  • Traceroute command from Shoretel Switch

Does anyone know if there's a traceroute command that can be run from a switch? I need to verify some gateway/network paths with some of our switches and can't seem to find the command on Shoretel's KB or the documentation.

From section 4.3.2.4 of the Maintenance Guide- Using the Traceroute Command from a ShoreGear Switch-

The traceroute command can be executed from the switch’s command line or from
        ipbxctl.exe utility.
To run the traceroute command from the ShoreGear CLI, follow the procedure below:
Step 1 Open a Telnet session and type:
        traceroute “IP address”
IP address is the address of the target destination and is a mandatory parameter.
It must be in double-quotation marks.
        Step 2 Press Enter.

So, I think you need to cliStart first...
