  • QoS DSCP Values

We are currently running ShoreTel 9.1. Our VPN provider has configured our Cisco's to prioritise site traffic as follows:

    Class-map: voice (match-any) - 29% - 1160 (kbps)
    Match: ip dscp ef (46)
    Match: ip precedence 5

    Class-map: call-signaling (match-any) - 4% - 160 (kbps)
    Match: ip dscp cs3 (24)
    Match: ip dscp af31 (26)

Under Call Control options what should I set the DiffServ / ToS Byte field to be so that it will be classified by our routers correctly?

    Qos

Set your TOS value to 184 in director which is equivalent to DSCP of 46 or EF tag.

You should peruse through some of the other threads on QOS discussions... It can incorporate much more than just setting the DSCP bit for RTP traffic.
