  • DVM question

I have a customer running Server 2008 on his HQ server and he wants to install the CallRex call recording application. CallRex runs on a ShoreTel Remote Server but only supports Server 2003. Does anyone know if it's possible to run Server 2008 on the Main server and Server 2003 on the remote? I don't believe Shoretel supports that scenario but wondering if anyone has done that. Thanks

I dont think it matters if the DVM and the HQ server are on different OS's...as long as they are the same version/build of Shoretel.

Thanks, I was told they both have to be the same OS but couldn't find anything on the KB or in the docs to confirm either way.

Read the 9.2 update in the build and release notes, they do both have to be the same OS.

9.2 requires that the server environment be homogeneous. 10.X allows it to be heterogeneous. We have our HQ as 2003 and a DVS as 2008.
