  • Question on Directory Error....

    My customer is getting an error when she tries to access the Directory on her phone...

    "the server required for this operation is not available"

    Am I correct in presuming that this is because the TMI service is not running correctly?

    See what IP the phone got and make sure you can ping it from the voice server. This usually means the phone booted and is attached to the switch however it cannot reach the ST server.

        Same issue here....

        Communication between the server and phone(s) does not appear to be the issue. Restarting the Shoreware IP-Phone Display Service did not work.

        Anyone else have a suggestion?

          I rebooted the HQ server and the switch, and all came back up with no problems.
