Why not just walk someone through resetting it from the phone? They just need to enter setup and clear all values and then # all the way to the end. DHCP will set your SNTP value.

We just have someone enter Mute-C-L-E-A-R-# on the phone and that takes it back to defaults.

I think you can specify most of those parameters in the custom.txt files for each model. Perhaps that would override your manual settings if you are dealing with a large volume of handsets. If it's only a few then mute clear is the way to go.

I had tried using the custom.txt option, (and I saw that it downloaded properly to the phone), but it didn't override the settings that had been manually entered at the keypad . (Due to various reasons, all of our phones use statically set IP information - no DHCP). I would love to be able to remotely change the NTP server on the remote phones without having to go on site to manually do it, but, so far, no luck.

Oh well, worth a try I guess.
