  • PCM upgrade from 7.5 to 9.1

    When upgrading from 7.5 to 9.1 (I know we have to upgrade servers to 8, then 9.1). My question is, will the users be able to make the leap to 9.1 with their Call Manager? Also, when upgrading, do the users have to have local "admin" rights?

    While I have not personally gone from 7.5 straight to 9.1 I would think the CM should upgrade as soon as they try to launch it. If not it would still be quicker to uninstall the old then re-install the new.

    Local admin rights will be needed, unless you push the CM via AD.
