  • install 8.1 on a new server, upgrading from 6.1

    Currently a client is running 6.1 on one machine. This machine does not meet the sysreqs of 8.1 so we have another machine slated to run 8.1 I installed 8.1 on the new machine. What I need to know is if this will work. Can I configure the 8.1 server like the 6.1 server and then simply unplug the old server and plug in the new? Will this upgrade the switches and phones, or do I need to transition to 7.5 first?
