we have it ordered, but have yet to get to install it.. not real excited about the delivery through my partner right now -
We have installed this, its pretty easy, it just installs on the shoretel server, then the clients that want the pop up have a client installed on their machine. Theres really not alot to it...Comment

decided to push the install button after I responded. Can't say it is definately worth the cost they charge for it... it is neat and works like it is supposed to, but again the cost.....Comment

Once you do the server and client install for e911, is there any other settings that need to be set?Comment

not really, you setup a route point in the shoretel server config for the e911 and then point the software to that extention and you are done.Comment

So if you have 50 people that have the e911 client then you need 50 route pionts, or could your point the route to a hunt groups or work groups with groups members being the e911 clients.Comment

no, the e911 software points to the route point, and the clients point to the server. There is only one route point.Comment
