Call Manager installation error 1720

Hi All,
I'm a newbie. I've recently tried to install the call manager GUI and kept getting this error message in the dialog box.

Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action RemoveComplusSoftPhone script error -2147164145...

Did anybody have this problem before and how to resolve it?

Your help is greatly appreciated.
