Trouble using search

I am trying to resolve a problem with Shoreware Director. I need to make changes to a workgroup but the following mesg is at the top of the page and I am trying to search for an answer within the forums.

"You may not modify the configuration database. Some required ShoreTel services are not running."

Nothing is ever found. Is there info about using your search??

You may not be finding anything because there may not be an answer here on the forums...yet. Have you tried Shoretel's Knowledge base?

What do I do if I receive the error " You may not modify the configuration database. Some required ShoreTel services are not running"?
One possibility:
This is often the result of DEP being set incorrectly.
1. Right click on my computer, and left click properties
2. Select Advanced tab
3. Select settings under performance
4. Select Data Execution Prevention
5. Change setting to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only."
