  • multiple trunk with failover?

I am beginning an install w/PRI and copper trunks. PRI will be local and copper will be long distance. The customer only has 5)unlimited copper trunks,so I'd like to send LD calls to the PRI when the 5 copper trunks are full. It works like this currently in PBX. Customer would like to keep it in the Shoretel. How is this possible?

So, just check LD on the copper trunks and LOCAL and LD on the digital.

To just keep this simple (it gets more complex as you add more trunks), you can weight the analog trunks to be preferred over the digital (by default digital has a lower weight).

Go into support entry mode and into the analog trunk group and in the trunk group custom rules (at the bottom) and add: ";-30A"

Is there any documentation about the "support entry mode" you talk about?
