Last Successful Backup

In the quick look page and drilling down on the SW (softswitch), at the far right side of the page you see section for Last Succesful Backup.
Any Idea what this is for?

Site /Voice Mail Server/ Mailboxes/ Messages /Space Used (MB)/ Free Space (MB) / Last Successful Backup
