  • Couple of quick questions

How do you access the reports if you do not use the web reporting function?

Is there any way to delete certain user's from the directory i.e President or Workgroups? I see the option to get rid of them from the dial by name directory, but everyone with PCM can see the entire directory.

Is there any way to retrieve deleted history with PCM?

    Thanks in advance.

    Questions

You run director from the server itself. The web reporting feature just allows you to run reports from a workstation without having to be at the server/remote desktop in.

i believe that Marking an extension as

    Make Number Private

will hide it from the directory in the phones and the PCM.

I am not sure about deleted history. I would think that unless you have some sort of backup or shadow copy of the files you would not.

      Thanks.
When you say from the Server, I see the reports in the D:\Shoreline Data\Call Records 2.

How do I generate from there? Each time I try and export it has no data even though the workgroup is active.

You need to go into Shoreware Director on the server. So TS into it or go to its console and open Shoreware Director, then go to Reports. The reports you see in that folder are from Shoretel 6 and no longer apply.

          Reports

If you log into the server itself, and open the director/management web page, you should be able to go down to the reports section and run reports.

You should be running the reports through the web director console, you just cant run them from a workstation's IE, it has to be done from the server's internet explorer.

Thanks for the info. I misunderstood and was trying to access it from my laptop and not the actual server. Problem solved.
