  • Deleting user VMs

Is there a way to delete user vm from the director or the server files themsevles. I looked in the Shorelinedata/VM/extension folders but didn't see any messages in the folders. Where can I find VM messages so I can delete them if a box gets to filled?

Have a look in the Maintenance Guide for the CFG tool which is a command line tool that lets you manage mailboxes.

You can't delete from SWD and you may find the easiest way is to use the VM Viewer on the client PC.

I'll have to look at the CFG tool, because they don't use the client. I just thought there was an easier way. There has got to be a place where those messages are kept and associated with an extension.

You can delete the voicemail wave files themselves from the proper folder under Shoreline Data, but this doesn't remove the messages. We have written a small tool that might fit your needs. It runs from any client that has call manager installed. A screenshot appears below:

I really like your voicemail tool. How can I get it?
