Are there any huge issues with installing the Shoreware Director on a Win2K3 server?

    Thanks for any info

I am a little confused by your question. Shoreware Director is supposed to be installed on a Server, preferably 2003. The Shoreware Director Interface is a web page, so you can access it from any machine on the network.

    Does this help?

      Thanks

Thanks Charles, I wasn't sure how the "ShoreWare Server" would handle 2003, since we had been using Windows 2000 for so long. Thanks for the feedback.

ShoreTel is having issues with server pack 2 for Win2K3. Do not install SP2 at this time. If you have already done so, complete the following steps before trying to troubleshoot probems, especailly relating to VM:

        1. Unistall SP2
        2. Reinstall SP1
        3. Run the shoretel exe for the build you are currently running and choose the repair option.

        Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the heads up on the WK3 SP2. I have updated several servers with this and have not had a problem (yet). What type of issues should I expect and where do I find mor e info on this?

We had a customer jump the gun and everything lost connectivity to the DVM and HQ servers (they went to SP2 on both). Removing SP2 solved the problem. I am sure it could've been fixed but they just removed SP2 instead of messing around with troubleshooting.
