I have a problem when i record a workgroup mailbox.
when i record a workgroup mailbox greeting the next day the greeting is deleted and i cannot figure out why.
for eg.
i record the company greeting for a workgroup and when the system switches to after hours mode all calls go to the greeting.
its fine when i record it during the day and that night it will play my recorded greeting, the next day when it switches to onhours mode all call ring at the that workgroups ext's, but this time when it switches to offhours mode again the message i recorded the previous day is gone, deleted, it just plays the default workgroup message as if i hadn't recorded any thing.
i record the greeting thru the handset by dialing the voice mail
pressing hash(#) to log into another mailbox
pressing 7
pressing 1
to record the greeting
i even record the workgroup name.
the other way i record the greeting is i press the recod button
thru the shoreware director in workgoup settings for that workgroup and it rings an ext to record from.
even tho i get message saved when i save it, it is still deleted the next day.
no matter what method i use.
the firmware version on the system is 8.1 field trial version.
the equipment is a shoregear E1
shoregear 60/12
shoregear 60/12
about 65 shoretel ip handsets.
if anyone has any suggestion or solution please let me know.
I contacted tech support but they didn't have an immediate answer. they said they will contact me when they do as they download the shoregear data off the server.
