  • Random oneway audio

    I am having some trouble with random one way audio on internal calls anyone had this problem? ST7.5

    Expience indicates that this problem is a direct result of one of two conditions: Either port 5004 in a non sip environment is block in one direction; or a device default gateway has changed. Given that you say it is sporatic, I would assume that you have ICMP redirects on your network; this has the effect of changing the default gateway as the network routers tell the packets "hey, there is a better path". Check your DG on each device and I am confident you will find one that has a wrong DG setting. Telenet into each device and check. ShoreTel does not currently support ICMP redirect or STP.
