I'm having a hard time formating wave files. Does anyone know of a good FREE convertor tool for wave files.

I use sound recorder to format the wav files.

I always just use sound recorder since it comes with windows. To convert the file you just select properties> convert now> Click the format pull down and scroll up to CCITT u-law, and then click the attributes pull down and scroll to 8.000 kHz, 8 bit, mono.
