  • Error Message - Pcm

Upgraded to ST8 13.9.3506 - Everything went well, but we keep getting an error message when PCM starts up (failure to Import Outlook Contacts). The funny thing is that the contacts are shown in the PCM directory, so they were imported and they are not cached, because if you add a new contact it shows in the PCM directory. Everyone gets this message so its not one client; has anyone come across this message. I have looked in the build note and find nothing as far as a bug.
I was think maybe if there is no changes in your outlook contacts and PCM looks to import them it will not import because it sees nothing new.
    Any thoughts?

Majority of the time this is due to a contact list that is restricted or no permissions on your Exchange server. It could mean your still seeing your cached list (If its cached on start up) and its not updated.

You can view the errors in the Options tab of PCM, identify the import errors and stop PCM from reading these.

I don't see anything in options to view errors. I don't think its cached, because if I were to add a new outlook contact it shows in PCM directory.

I just added another contact and PCM imported it, but when it was imported I got that same message again.

In PCM under Options you will see Logging, in there you should see the import logs.

You may also need to turn on debug a tad higher in PCM t see the error.
are you seeing a HEX id as the error or ?
