Using Common Star Codes

Hi,
is there any configuration required before you can use common star codes.
When i tried to test this feature i get a message "that extension is not valid"!

What * code are you trying to use and what call Scenario

A few of these need to be enabled in Class of Service. An example would be Allow Make Hunt Group Busy, if *18 +extension is what you were trying.
