    Find me feature

    I have been battling this feature for the last three months. I have a customer that upgraded from 6.1 to 7.5 build 1806. After the upgrade the find me feature did not work. Looked into it and everything was setup as it should, so we upgraded to 7.5 4002 thinking 1806 had a bug. Upgrade went well, but still can not get the find me feature to work. I have looked in the release notes and don't see anything on a known issue.

    Has anyone run into this problem with the find me feature not working?

    Made sure the find me was activated in personal options
    user group fully featured
    VM notification user group fully featured

    go to call control and option and make sure that trunk to trunk transfer is checked

      I didn't check that, but if we set one of the call handling modes to forward to an external # it will, so I'm assuming the trunk to trunk is good. Thanks for the info I will give it a look.

      Is anyone running 7.5 1806 or 4002?

        If your running 4002.0 get off that build immediately and upgrade to the current GA of 7.5. I cannot say anything more

        Regarding FM

        Does FM work calling from an Internal Ext?

        Does FM not work when an external callers calls the Ext or DID?

        Just exactly what is not working and what is the experience of the User(s)?

          It doesn't work either way, internal or external. It hits the trunk but doesn't go any further. The weird thing is that it worked before the move from 6.1 to 7.5.

            I have seen that behavior several times, but it has always been the permission of allowing trunk to trunk transfers.

              There are some things you can try

              A bug was found with Find me when the two options are unchecked regarding send CID and the other I forget.

              you need trunk to Truk in the COS Telephony in the users User Group as well as the Vmail Notifcation user group

              In each of those COS telephony ensure Trunk to trunk is set along with Allow excternal assignment and Follow me is on


              Also under the Find me options page
              in 7.x there are two options now one is Send Incoming CID and I forget the 2nd

              Make sure both of them are checked, the bug was in one of those if unchecked.
              I think that is a bug in the 4002
