    Has anyone been able to integrate Polycom 501 SIP phones into Shoretel 8?
    If so could you let us know the set up?

    Thanks

    This was posted on the Shoretel Users Yahoo group:

    I just got my Polycom IP 500 working (SIP firmware 2.1.2.0078) using
    the settings below. The same instructions should work for the 501. I
    haven't tested all the features, but calling, transfering (blind and
    consultative), and conference all work.

    Using the IP 500 web interface:
    - Under SIP -> Servers, set "Server 1 Address" to the IP address of
    your ShoreGear switch (the one you set as your SIP Proxy).
    - Under Lines -> Line 1
    * Display Name: <name shown in CID>
    * Address: <ShoreTel extension>
    * Auth User ID: <ShoreTel extension>
    * Auth Password: <users SIP password>
