  • Upgrading client from 6.1 to 7.5

    I'm upgrading a customer to 7.5 from 6.1, it will be a new server with 7.5 and I just copied over the shoreline data folders. No changes, the only thing that will change is the MAC on the server, which I got the new system license installed. The only thing that I might have an issue with is the client. Does anyone see an issue with the PCM upgrade from 6.1, will we get the prompt to upgrade or will or will we have to load via browser (IPserver/shoredirector/clientinstall)?

    The Call Managers will populate the prompt requesting to be upgraded to the new 7.5 version.

      The client PC users must have local admin rights to install the call manager update. You can roll out the update ahead of time via group policy and then upgrade the system to 7.5.
