  • listen only mailbox

    I have a customer that wants to change a users mailbox to listen only just for one day. The user has a direct # to her phone and wants to record a message and when people call into her phone they will hear the message, but wont have the option to leave a message and after the day is over change back. They don't want to create an AA and point to it from one of the users modes (custom).

    Any options

    Just a thought, record a custom message, then set the call handling to custom mode, set custom mode to forward all calls to the voice mail.

      If you change their class of service to one that has a 0 length incoming message limit it will play their greeting and then the SHoreTel voice will say no messages may be taken...
