Thanks for the replies, I ended up finding the option in their COS to increase the alloted time.

    Cheers!

The max recorded call length is controlled my their voicemail Class of Service. Whatever is set as the maximum message length is also their maximum recorded call length. It can be set to a maximum of 1 hour (3600 seconds).

Another option is that you can specify in each user's Personal Options a mailbox (other than their own) where recorded calls should be stored (for example a Workgroup mailbox). The Voicemail Class of service for That other mailbox would then apply rather than the user's own Voicemail Class of Service.

Have you considered a call recording solution? The Shoretel feature is limited, but things like CallRex are much better.

You can only use the record feature from the PCM toolbat if the you are using advanced call manager. If you are using Personal call manager then you can only do it from a button on the phone. Otherwise though you don't need any special licenses to do recording.

Yes, as long as they have rights to record calls in their user groups, then you can add a button on the phone or on their PCM tool bar. But I dont think you need anything else, maybe if they use the PCM to initiate recording calls that they would need advance PCM, but not sure.
