autodial when handset lifted

we're in the process of converting from a Mitel system and we have at least one phone that when the handset is lifted, it automatically dials an extension (our Operator). Can this be duplicated with ShoreTel?

Yes, Shoretel 8.0 offers this functionality (ring down).

i guess i should have added that we're running 7.5. i was hoping the version wouldn't matter....greatly appreciate the reply none-the-less.

You could install a ringdown device (viking) if you are running V7.5 or older, but it would require an analog device. It's commonly used for elevators, etc. But Chris is correct, it is a fully supported feature in 8.0
