Programmed button for 911

Is there anyway to program a button on the phone to dial 911? I tried a speed dial, but director is looking for a 10 digit number. Anyone have any ideas?

Can you custom edit the buttons and to make one a 911 auto dial? Under users I picked my own phone, personal options, then programmed #2 as a speed dial to an external target. Labeled it as needed then put the phone number in. Might be worth a try.

The problem is it errors out since its only a 3 digit number.

Why don't you program a button to dial a route point and have the route point forward always to a external #, which would be 9 (trunk access) then 911.

Haven't tried it, but you never know.
