i've successfully setup a vpn tunnel to work from my home to my work network...and my IP phone 230 is working well when placing a call to both subnets in my work network: 10.25.1.0 and 192.168.1.0
however, oddly is the issue where if i press the Voice Mail button the shoretel voice prompt cannot be heard...cannot listen to voice mail, why?
i am able to ping and access the voicemail server from a laptop right next to the phone. I can ping the phone from the voicemail also...so, there is obvious connection between the two....but, something is missing. my vpn rules allows all traffic bidirectionally.
via the vpn tunnel i can access all types of resources without limitation from home to the work network...and, i can access the home computer and ping the phone from my work network.
