Can I set the time that a deleted voicemail is kept by the system?

They way it was explained to me was no. The deleted voicemail will be deleted 24 hours after it get marked for deletion by the system. What this means is that at 3:00 am the system does a maintenance routing. The user has deleted the message and its setting in the deleted box of the user, the system then marks it for deletion the next time it runs the maintenance routing. The short of it, the message will be deleted no shorter than 24 hours but it could stay in the deleted folder no longer than 48 hours.

All deleted items will be deleted @ 2am, but it must have been placed in the deleted queue for at least 6 hours, or it will roll over to the next night. Basically, if you delete it after 8pm, it will delete the following night. If you delete is before 8pm, it will delete @ 2am. (KB354 discusses a little about this)
