  • Exchange/Outlook - Issues with VM

    We just moved over to Shoretel 7.0 and I am having an issue with VoiceMail/Outlook Integration. When VoiceMails arrive via Outlook I can open and play them but if I try to reply or send they get stuck in my outbox and I get this message from my Exchange Server..

    If you are using outlook 2007, then yes I have seen this. If you check the message gets delivered. ( at least where I have seen it). I talked to ShoreTel and it is a bug they are working on. I know this was an issueback in December, I do not know if the latest release resolved this or not.

          How about with Outlook 2003 & v7.5 build 12.14.4002.0?

          Here is my exact error...

            I have the same error with Shoretel version V. 7.0 Build 12.5.9303. Is there a fix for my version? If so, what do I have to do in order to get it implemented?

              My fix was to go into Outlook, select a voice message, click on forward, click on options & select the Global Address book instead of the Voicemail address book. Once you select it on one message, it should stay that way for all.
              Using the Exchange Global Address book solved all issues with forwarding we were having.

              Hope this helps others.

                We went into outlook configuration and removed the Shoretel MAPI and re-installed it. Seemed to work for us.

                  same prob with Outlook 07 and Shoretel 8.1

                  We just moved from 7.5 to 8.1 for PCM, and now we have the same problem. Has anyone else seen this recur?

                    If uninstalling and reinstalling the PCM component from Outlook doesn't work, sometimes we have to rebuild the entire outlook profile.
