Phone Time Sync

I have pushed DHCP Options 002 and 004 to the phones. They appear to get the current time, but only to the minute and not the second. For example, if the phone boots at 11:30:45, then the phone gets 11:30:00 and is off by 45 seconds. I know this sounds picky, but I get complaints that the phone is not in sync with the computer.

Any ideas?

That is just the way it is. Shoretel only supports synching to the minute.

I guess you could very carefully calculate the amount of time a phone takes to boot and then start the boot process exactly that much time in advance of an even minute time. --unlikely.

You could set a group policy that will prevent users from displaying the clock in their task bar...
