  • Moving users

    I have an employee that moved to a new position. Switched her users to the new phone and had her set the voicemail message. Calling internally, everything works fine but if you can and leave her a voicemail from outside our network, you get the user she replaced voicemail. What am I missing?

    Did the user replace the previous user with the same extension number and DID? Personal recordings can exist as greetings and as a recorded name for the dial by name directory. My personal preference for replacing users is to delete the existing extension and profile and then re create it.

      I have resolved this issue. They user had only setup her voicemail for the standard mode. I had her set them us for all modes and this resolved the issue. I figured I would share what I learned just in case someone else runs into this issue.
