  • Connect Client Issue After Upgrade to 21.88.3731.0 (Connect Client 213.100.3271.0)

    So last night we upgraded to the new Connect version 21.88.3731.0 after we got everything upgraded we noticed the connect client was not working

    However after some troubleshooting I ended up changing the Minimum allowed client version in Additional Parameters to 213.100.2885.0 (Which is the Connect Client version in 21.86) and as a work around have that version of the client working. However the new version still does not work so I have 2 systems up side by side one with the old version one with the new and were compairing the logs and noticed something interesting.

    The logs look similar up to the last handshake before login where you see this: (Please note I changed my DVS name to DVS.Domain.com for security reasons not wanting to publish my real DVS name)

    New Client that's not working (version 213.100.3271.0):

    So it looks like for some reason the DVS isnt offering the CASToken to the newer Connect Client.

    So both versions pointing to the same DVS Old Works New Doesn't really strange right now users are using the old connect version however there was a big fix in the new version of connect so we do want to get it working so didn't know if anyone had some idea of whats going on.
