  • cqs.exe error

Seeing this error every hour at 58 minutes:

Faulting application name: cqs.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x58ae44a6
Faulting module name: MSVCR100.dll, version: 10.0.40219.1, time stamp: 0x4d5f0c22
    Exception code: 0x40000015
    Fault offset: 0x0008d6fd
    Faulting process id: 0x1960
    Faulting application start time: 0x01d36adec39895a2
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Shoreline Communications\ShoreWare Server\monitoring\cqs.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR100.dll
    Report Id: 01527715-d6d2-11e7-9a69-000c29df10b3

What are cqs.exe and MSVCR100.dll used for specifically? I'm going to go out on a limb and say monitoring of some sort...

That is likely a missing prerequisite with .net and or the visual basic library causing the fault. The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable bundles may have not been installed correctly or may be missing. Even if you add them you may not be able to undo the current issue without doing a reinstall. Anytime a service or dlll has issues its hard to re-register them without re installation.
