  • PCM causing Outlook 2003 calendar

We just started using our new Shortel phone system, and so far so good, bar one issue we're having between the integration of Outlook and Personal Call Manager (PCM).

90% of our users connect via Citrix, with the remainder using XP workstations. We began rolling out PCM by installing if for several of our non-Citrix users, for testing purposes before installing it on our presentation servers.

The testing was by in large successful, although with two users we encountered a problem whereby after several days of use, their Outlook Calendar stopped allowing them to add new appointments or amend others, with the following error:

'The form required to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator.'

The fix is where possible to clear the form data from within Outlook, although the problem eventually comes back, or uninstall the 'Outlook calendar integration' from within PCM.

Since then we have now installed PCM on our citrix servers and are gradually rolling it out to users, but the problem is starting to creep in for those users as well.

We're running Citrix XenApp 4.5 on Server 2003 sp2 with Office 2003 sp3. Our XP workstation users are also using Outlook 2003 sp3 with XP running all latest patches and service packs.

Has anyone else experienced this, or have any pointers?
