  • Delayed Ring for Workgroup Member

    Is there a way to have a delayed ring for workgroup members? I'd like to have main members have 6 rings, but have two WG assistants be able to answer after 4 rings. I know I can create another WG but the change in ring cadence is annoying to customers who then abandon the call. Any suggestions?

    Easiest thing to do might be to program an extension monitor button on the other two users phones.

    Set the monitor extension button to an extension in the workgroup, and the "Ring Delay Before Alert" to 4 rings. I usually always have the "Show Caller ID on Monitored Extensions" enabled too.

        It worked great. Assistants are able to pickup after 4 rings without being disturbed by every call. Abandoned calls are down to zero. Thanks much CelticTech!
