  • Disconnect Reasons

Does anyone have, or know where I can find, a reasonably good translation of what the Disconnect Reason Codes really mean? For example Reason Code 20 is "Cancelled", what could cause that. Or 16 is "TempFailure"...... temp failure of what might cause that?

Sorry, I misread: Thought you were asking for a list of the codes themselves, which can be found in the CDR database:

- Rejected: I can generate that by refusing a call with my SIP phone.

- Pickup - Initiating a pickup request from PCM.

- Forwarded - Forwarded by the current CHM or ECR rules

- Busy - Callstack is full and no forward destination.

- NoAnswer - Obvious what it means, but not sure how to get it to occur.

- BadAddress - An incorrectly-formatted number was dialed.

- Congestion - The addmission control bandwidth limit has been hit.

- NoDialTone - I'd imagine this happens on analog trunks, for example, when making an outbound call while there is no dial tone.

- OutOfOrder - Perhaps when the trunks are all put out of service?

- Blocked - Perhaps when the call permissions for your user group do not llow the call to be completed?

- DoNotDisturb - When a phone is placed in DND and has no forward destination.

- When a call is unparked, such as when picking a call from queue monitor.
