  • Back up problems

    Maybe someone can help with this. I have a brand new install that I am doing. I changed the name of the HQ server from ShoreTel to what the customer requested. Did this before installing the Shoreware software. Everything is working fine and the system is programmed and up and running. Problem is, when I try to perform a backup using the procedure below, I get the following error...

    Got error: 2003: Can't connect to MySql server on 'localhost' <10061> when trying to connect

    Here is the procedure that I used...

    Open a DOS prompt and type;

    CD Program Files\Shoreline Communications\Shoreware Server\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin\

    Then type:

    mysqldump.exe --user=root --password=shorewaredba --databases shoreware --routines --single-transaction>C:\shorewaredump1.sql

    Any help would be appreciated.

    ShoreTel 10 uses a different port for MySQL: -P4308
